When I was 15 years old, our family faced many challenges in Brazil, but my mother paved the way for a solution by working in the cleaning industry in the USA.
At 17, determined to build a different future, I decided to work with her and learn the trade, as she always inspired me to be strong through adversities. We worked together for one year until she received a full-time housekeeper offer from LinkedIn CEO, Jeff Weiner, when she passed on the responsibility of managing the cleaning schedule to me.
My cousin and I cleaned over 100 houses per month, from Monday to Saturday. I dedicated 9 years and 3 months with no time off, working with total commitment, which was rewarded by the satisfaction of clients who recommended my work daily.
This journey is the result of hard work, dedication to quality and friendships that took me further, connecting me to a greater purpose.
